Under the guidance of the People's Bank of China Shenzhen Branch, SY Foundation has partnered with Agricultural Bank of China Shenzhen Branch and Shenzhen University to pioneer a groundbreaking "digital RMB + charity" model. The collaboration successfully implemented the industry's first smart contract-based digital RMB charity scholarship, marking a significant advancement in digital transformation for public welfare initiatives.

This innovative project utilizes direct bank-enterprise connectivity to create customizable digital RMB smart contracts for scholarship disbursements to Shenzhen University students. Unlike traditional charity donation models, the funds distributed by SY Foundation through digital RMB have pre-loaded smart contracts that automatically execute according to donor specifications. These contracts precisely define fund flow paths and usage parameters, ensuring automated distribution while enhancing both transparency and efficiency in fund utilization.

The successful application of digital RMB smart contracts in charitable scenarios represents a new digital era for philanthropic development. By leveraging the traceability and targeted payment features of digital RMB, donations can precisely reach intended recipients, significantly reducing management costs while increasing transparency.
