SY Charity Foundation won the "Golden Goodness Team Award" at the Fourth "Golden Goodness Award"
The 4th “Golden Kindness Award” public welfare and philanthropy selection campaign was initiated by Lianzhou International Credit Rating Co., Ltd. It aims to thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and put into practice Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. In active response to the State Council’s Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Philanthropy, which encourages charitable engagement from all sectors of society, the initiative seeks to promote the cultural spirit of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and inspire broader participation in charitable endeavours. Through the exemplary power of role models, the award helps motivate more people to join in philanthropic efforts, driving the vibrant growth of charity and public welfare in the region.
SY Foundation, a public charity foundation initiated by SY Holdings Group Limited ("Sheng Ye" or the "Group"; Stock Code: 6069.HK), has been recognized as an AAA-grade social organization. Embracing a culture of sharing and growth, the foundation is committed to caring for and supporting disadvantaged communities. Its philanthropic initiatives primarily focus on three key areas: “care for children in distress,” “youth empowerment programs,” and “support for rural revitalization.” As of December 31, 2024, the foundation's total charitable spending exceeded RMB 14 million, with over 15,000 individuals benefiting from its efforts.
In the area of care for children in distress, the foundation has launched projects such as “SY Light, Bright Hearts” to provide medical assistance for children, as well as summer camps for left-behind children through the “Hearts in Full Bloom” program. Free screening events have been held in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, Hunan, and Hainan, providing surgical treatment for 188 underprivileged children suffering from congenital heart disease or cleft lip and palate.
In the youth empowerment sector, the foundation has provided RMB 150,000 in financial aid for tuition and living expenses to 50 underprivileged university students in Hezuo City, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. In addition, it has partnered with Shenzhen University and Tianjin University of Finance and Economics to launch the “Factoring Talents” scholarship program, supporting the cultivation of future industry leaders.
To support rural revitalization, the foundation has made infrastructure donations to Jianzha County in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai, as well as to Xiaojinzhuang and Gaoxinzhuang villages in Wuqing District, Tianjin, and Shangguan Town in Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. It has also continuously supported rural education by purchasing computers, electric fans, and sports equipment (football, basketball, and volleyball) for schools in remote areas such as Zhuguanlong School in Shouning County, Fujian Province; Tunzi Middle School in Zhenyuan County; and Ta’e Central Primary School in Heshui County, Gansu Province. These efforts aim to enhance teaching conditions and provide students with a better educational environment and resources, furthering the development of rural education.
A representative from the SY Foundation stated that the goal is to maximize the potential of philanthropy through diverse activities, ensuring more children grow up in healthy, loving environments. On this hopeful journey of public service, the foundation looks forward to collaborating with more partners to bring greater hope and opportunities to children and young people.
